Also 100 Cooks.
Alas, ‘baker’ is no longer a job classification in the military. I’m sure there were several good jokes about the bakery company!
The 100th anniversary of the end of WWI is coming up. To honor the event, I’ll be sharing several posters under the category: ‘Economic and Industrial Aspects’.

Culinary in the military is amazing. They send the officers to top programs across the country like the Culinary Institute of America and the higher level officers to major business schools like Harvard and Stanford. Retired officers commonly land executive positions in the restaurant and food service industry. I read an article that said it’s almost as lucrative as second careers undertaken by retired pilots. (And the linguists in retirement are prized for their ability to use multiple languages when asking customers if they’d like fries with that!)
