        TRUTH!!

        Would have LOVED to see pictures of these balls the ladies attended. I bet they were so marvelous to behold visually! Did you happen to read of *when* they were held in a season? Dead of winter, early fall? I believe you and I are kindred sisters when it comes to these practices of reading the past.

        I ponder if there where many hangovers for the need of this strong coffee and the days following before another round of parties? One always needs a pace when putting oneself under the marvelous influence of spirits. 😉
