June Menu 1884.
Welcome June! This month’s menu comes from the Franco-American Cookery Book; Or, how to live well and eat wisely every day of the year (Check out last June’s menu, here).
Here’s to summer!
This Garbure a la Clermont looks delicious – something akin to a French onion soup, which makes sense given that this is a Franco-American cookbook.
Good to see corned beef isn’t just for March!
Snipe makes another appearance, poor thing – two months in a row! (See May Menu).
This last one is new – a savory/sweet dish, to be sure.
Happy cooking!
Good to see corned beef isn’t just for March! LOL (love it!!) It is what’s for breakfast!!!
Will do the Rice Pudding today!!
Isn’t the Snipe what the little boy was looking for in the movie UP?
I hope you have a lovely weekend~
Happy June 1st!!!

Yes! That’s the snipe! One of the best movie subplots ever. Happy Friday!
